About StoriZetu
Our goal is to give voice to the diverse and rich stories of African men, women, and children.
For over a decade, I have dedicated myself to this passion and cause, understanding the power of storytelling in shaping perceptions, breaking stereotypes, and fostering understanding.
We aim to showcase the diverse realities, experiences, and dreams of African people. Our platform is not limited to any specific genre or theme because we recognize that every story holds its own significance and has the potential to touch hearts and minds. Whether it is a tale of resilience, love, adventure, or struggle, we strive to amplify these voices and create a bridge between cultures, promoting empathy, and encouraging dialogue.
For over a decade, Joan Thatiah, a journalist and author who is also a Stori Zetu co-founder has made writing stories about African men, women and children her passion and cause. In 2018, Stori Zetu was founded to create a platform for other African authors from all around the continent to show and tell stories from their side of the continent. After all, if you don’t tell your story, somebody else will.
